What do you get when you mix these four ingredients together? The absolute essence of fall in a cup….or simply MAGIC!!
This has been an absolute fall favorite of our family for a few years, and it all started at Starbucks. Back in college I wasn’t an avid coffee drinker yet, so when we made a trip to Starbucks I needed something without coffee in it. (Nowadays, the stronger the coffee the better.) I stumbled across this drink and had to ask just how it was made. The barista divulged this sacred recipe and little did I know then she was creating a monster. I’ve since shared this with my dearest and best friends and family. I think this is the number one most requested drink in our household. We always seem to have the ingredients in our cupboards/fridge when a little cup of comfort is needed. Try it out for yourself- you will not be disappointed.
Homemade Caramel Apple Spice – adopted from a most lovely Starbucks Barista
Ingredients:
2 cups Apple juice
1 shot (2 or 3 pumps if you have a pump dispenser) Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
Whipped cream in a can
Caramel Syrup
1. Pour yourself a nice glass of apple juice. I use 100% apple juice for this. If you use apple cider the taste will be slightly different than the Starbucks version- they use straight up juice too.
2. Add your shot of Cinnamon Dolce to the juice. Heat up in the microwave until the desired temp. If you are sharing with group you can also make a big batch all at one time with the ratio of 1 shot syrup per every 2 cups juice.
3. The last and best part- top with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel syrup. YUM!
Whether you are entertaining or just wanting a treat for yourself, this is a fantastic fall favorite go to drink. May it warm your heart & soul and brighten your mood on these chilly fall days.
Enjoy!
Love,
Emma

Any Starbucks. Just ask for a bottle. It’s an up front cost but it’ll last forever! I’ve had mine for at least a year.
