What I Wore This Week

I know what you are thinking…white pants again? Yep! And I’m sure this won’t be the last you see of these either. I wore this outfit a few weeks ago to a friend’s dance recital. I was going without my sweet little baby boy so I got to wear a necklace and my hair down. What a treat! It’s funny the things that change when there’s an infant grabbing anything within arm’s reach.

The details of this outfit are as follows. The jacket happens to be my Mother’s Day gift from Ben and Mister this year. It’s truly something I never thought I’d get to own, but am sure thankful to have gotten it. The necklace is one of my favorites. I’ve had it for a few years, but it’s one that doesn’t get old and it makes such a fun statement & pop of color. I will say it’s always a safe bet to pair white pants with a navy top. It’s a great nautical feel which is perfect for summer. Boots with skinny jeans have been quite popular in this last spring season and will be good to carry into fall this year. These are great to wear on cooler days in the summer. Here’s what it looks like all put together.

Here’s the look without the coat.

If you don’t own one of these necklaces already I suggest you look on Ebay for one. They have them in so many colors and are the perfect edition to any jewelry collection.
