What I Wore This Week: 3 Weeks Postpartum

Well we are 3 weeks in and getting our little routine down for our days. I do feel like most of our days are spent feeding, covered in milk and sleeping. I’m truly not complaining though- both Ben and I are LOVING being parents to our sweet little Myles. We haven’t ventured outside a ton because it’s been so cold and it’s peak flu season so most days have been spent in pajamas. I had some friends coming over so I said I need to actually put on some normal clothes. Thankfully I’m back to my old wardrobe now, and I’ve packed up my maternity clothes until God decides I need them again. Not everything fits like it did pre-Myles but that’s ok for now and yes I’m aware they may never fit the same ever again. That’s the beauty with becoming a mom and I honestly think I’m ok with the changes. I could write a whole blog post on just how in awe I am in the ways God allows are bodies to be transformed throughout pregnancy and afterwards being able to be the sole supply of food that our babies need. All of it happens too without us telling our bodies to do a single thing- AMAZING!

Back to the clothes- This is the outfit I put together this week. I went for casual and comfy without shying away from style.

I love the mixing of patterns. You can hardly ever go wrong with polka dots and stripes together.

I have lots of accessories with this outfit. Gotta love a good scarf!

The necklace was my push present from Ben. The m is for Myles. I have only taken it off to shower.

Babies make the best accessories though!
